Anyone ever tried merging multiple screens to get one big screen ? In theory it isn't that hard. You need some hardware that splits a high resolution input signal into multiple lower resolution output signals.. which then must be send to each monitor individually.. without any delay. Is there a controller like that out there?

This could cut down the size of a real 1080p projector? Imagine (2x2) 1024x768 = 2048x1536. What's the smallest payable size screen you can get 1024x768 on? I'm new to this

/edit hmm when you would take 8" screens this still would result in a 19" screen total :/
