LOL, I looked at the price and I'm like "two hundred fifty dollars... what the hell?" Then I noticed that little mark is a comma, not a period. tongue.gif

Cheapest I've seen a 1080p is $1400, less than I paid for my DIY I think...

is it my imagination or does that PJ say it can't process a 1080p signal?

It does say native 2048x1080, and I imagine it's quite bright, 9000 lumens.

Yeah, I would tend to agree with that. I think it would be a waste of pixels if it didn't make use of the full 1080 vertical lines. Otherwise they may as well just have used a less expensive 720p native display. Although, they may have decided that with a model like this one (which is probably used in movie theaters, special events ect.) that the higher amount of pixels would reduce the amount of screen door at movie theater sized viewing screens.

EWWWWW 1,000 hour bulb life. blink.gif

Yeah short bulb life - AND 2000 Watt Xenon bulbs are a bit more expensive than your average commercial projector bulb.
