Full Version: Test Pattern Utility

I originally posted this over here, but I noticed that people keep asking about test images for Macs, so I guess it got buried.

Here's the link to my test pattern utility. It's not as well rounded as Paladin's pgen software, but it's web-based, and therefore cross-platform. There's also no download, and no install. Getting full screen on OSX requires a little extra work; you have to use Megazoomer with Safari, but it's easy enough.

Personally, I've used it to help calibrate my own projector with my Mac. It's not perfect, but it works. :-)

Hope this helps a few people out.

Which web browser are you using? You don't happen to have javascript disabled, do you? The test screens are not a series of images, they're drawn dynamically using JS and AJAX. I'm guessing either your browser has an incompatibility with my JS (though, I've tested all the big ones... I haven't tested all the different versions of everything), or the server was getting beaten up when you accessed it (which is not uncommon) and it just didn't load the AJAX script.
