Well ,kids opened up the wii and we were finally able to set up christmas night , we stayed up until about 3 first night , started early next day and played all day and into night at about 12 ,now today it has been on since early this morning and still going. They have taken it over ,friends have come over and seen it and they said they are not sure if they can play there wii on there small tv anymore . I am so glad that i was able to get the wii system as it is very impressive and i would reccomend to anyone . I have never played video games so much before even the ps2 I never really played to much ,attention span limited I guess. One thing for sure is I am glad you don't have to worry about bulb life on this like a commercial unit . PJ looks awesome running this game and no problems with room and having the remotes picking up and so on. I am hooked on the bowling and tennis , boxing was too much for me and was starting to sweat playing it. My age on wii is 45 (very proud of that) and will get it down again later tonight. We have rented a couple of games for week . So we are set for this week and splinter cell will be played later tonight when daughter goes to bed ,right now we are playing raymans raving rabbids 2 ,. I am really impressed with this wii and it is so much fun that I don't mind they have taken over the pj . Anyone else experienceing this ,this xmas. Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Someone actually brought one of those to our New Years party 1 year ago. We were in a rental condo so we only had a little TV but we had everyone playing. Even the parents who where the type who disliked video games where playing. It seemed like a strange thing for someone to bring to a New Years party but everyone had soo much fun with it.

I've noticed the same thing with the Wii.
It's darn odd how people just jump out of the closet on you brandishing a Wii.

I brought mine to my HS graduation party. The room we were in had a big RPTV in it that I hooked the Wii up to. Everybody gave it a try, even my 75 year old grandfather. Him and his wife actually liked it so much they bought one.

I can't wait 'til I get mine going again! Dirt (Xbox 360 rally-racing game) here I come!
