Hello, well i've finally stripped my LCD and found these three layers of.. well i don't know what they are ! laugh.gif

Here are some pics..

The stripped LCD Is an Element LCD TV model Flx-1510, which is on one side really transmissive, as i can see everything trough it, and the other side's like a mirror ph34r.gif , i see myself totally and can somewhat see trough it. It's like 2mm thin, and looks very very delicate..

Heres a pic of the stripped LCD out of its metal\plastic casing which used to hold the LCD + backlight:

The FFC's aren't hanging, even though it looks like if they were on the pic.

Heres a pic of the Backlight, and the three layers of something which kinda diffuse light? on its casing:

One more question, i had to pull lots of these while stripping the LCD, do we need em? (do they conduct electricity?):

Aaand one more: Ive been wanting to kill the AG layer of the LCD. i'm guessing theres only ONE AG layer on what used to be the front of the LCD, right?

Thanx!
Alex

They are, in fact, diffusers. You can discard them. The polarizers are actually affixed to the LCD.
