I'm in a club called InvenTeams, sponsored by MIT-Lemelson. Our project last year was to make a graphing calculator for the visually impaired (blind), and we decided to continue this project this year. Our main problem is that it's way oo big/bulky. The main reasons being the MAKE Controller and our two stepper motors.
I'm wonering if there is any alternative to a controller which is much smaller (and has a USB port), or any way to make the motors much smaller? Right now they're about the size of an egg (only cubical). This is much to big to be plugged into a standard size TI calculator, which is what we plan to do.
