Full Version: 10.6" Samsung Panel From Averatec Laptop

Just throwing it out there that the 10.6" panels found in averatec laptops (same model used with the mst controller) are much much harder to strip than the ones available from Johnzo1995. I'm putting my replacement polarizer on tonight.

The biggest problem being that when you remove the last layer of antiglare from the back of the panel, all the glue stays on the polarizer and just doesn't seem to want to come off. I ended up using a razor to scrape the glue off and would have had to buff the polarizer to any usable state (replacement is much easier!).

Its a cheap way to get the panel however... only 135 USD.
