I'm quite sure it's real. There's no reason why it wouldn't work. Disks rattle when they seek. Drive the stepper motors with an audio signal instead, and voila! smile.gif

And to think I've spent all that money on speakers when
A couple of hard drives would have done the trick.

You can also use a paper cup, couple of magnets, and wire... add some juice and you have a speaker too. Heck you could make your Toilet bowl into a speaker if you took the time and wanted too. Hmmm plays crappy music real well. laugh.gif
