Alright here is the scnario:

(1) Projector with Input/Outputs: (1) VGA in, (1) VGA out, (1) S-Video in, (1) Yellow Video In, (1) Red/White RCA Sound in

I have a computer with a dual dvi ati 2600xt graphics card and an onboard VGA out

A 5 disc CD/DVD sony Player with R/G/B Component out, (2) Audio Red/White RCA in, (2) Yellow Video in
A Comcast High Def Reciever with R/G/B Component out, Audio Red/White RCA sound out

So this is what I am trying to do.... Either have a switching box where I can take the outputs from the DVD (RGB component)/Computer (DVI to R/G/B Component or DVI)/Cable (R/G/B component to R/G/B or DVI) into a box that upscales everything to 720p/1080i

Or some other cheaper method of having all three connect to the Single VGA on the projector with simple ease...

I've though about a KVM switch any thoughts on that? any out there that support the resolution im talking about? Is there a single VGA to Triple DVI splitter? Is there a single VGA to triple VGA converter?

What if i connect this http://cgi.ebay.com/High-Resolution-Super-...oQQcmdZViewItem to the vga in on the projector.... then connect another one to oen of the splitted ones. so that i have three... then use a RGB component to VGA from the 3 way split vga on the projector to the CAble box and the dvd player and a strait vga to dvi from the third vga to the computer?

Following me?

If anyone has any solution to this please dont hesitate to contact me

Could i plug in this KVM and have it all work ? http://cgi.ebay.com/Belkin-OmniView-SOHO-S...1QQcmdZViewItem

A belkin soho series 4 port kvm that supports video resolutions up to 2048x1536@85Hz through a 400 MHz bandwidth

Plug the KVM main output to the projector VGA, then use the computer(dvi) on the first port (to vga), the dvd player (component) as the second port (to vga), comcast hidef box (component) to the third port (to vga), Laptop (vga) to fourth port (to vga)....

Would this work or am I missing something?

The resolutions of each device is supported. I can buy VGA to VGA cable, (2) R/G/B component to VGA cabels, and a DVI to VGA cable and plug everything in. Then run a VGA to VGA to the projector and with the flip of a switch everything will work?
