Well I see some other topics have surfaced in the quest for overdriving and underdriving and what not just throwing this out there for the electronics high power guys or gals out there. I have two 175 watt metal halide ballast I would like to use one with possible one of those little 150 watt bulbs like what th Evo has in it? or are there any other ways that might work for this or 250 double ended to keep the enclosure size down smile.gif

Cool thanks I might have to try that of course I did notice that on the big ol core ballast I could barely read it since the paper is all torn up, something that said 250 watt max So I think I might be able to fire a 250 double ender with this but if anybody else knows let me know.

Hey arkom can you link me to where you got the bulb and possible the base to hold the bulb. You have a coil ballast right ??? Thanks of course others are welcome to chime in here also a 250 double ended would be nice or even single ended??????? Assuming it works with a 175 ballast

bulb connection is where I got my bulb, I got my base out of the light box on johnzo's website, but I'm sure it is available elsewhere.
