Ok, I can't remember at all where I found it, but my dumb ass didn't bookmark it so maybe someone here can help. I found an IR receiver module that was ready made and all you had to do was push a button to program it with any remote and use it as a switch. This site had a few different models and they were very cheap <$10. It might have been on here that I found them, if you have any ideas please reply.
