hello!
i need your help,
i've planed to strip the AG of my toshiba 15.4 WUXGA.
I don't konw how much time did i have to let it in the water soak?

Is-it the same for the two sides?

Thank's in advance
jules44
nobody could help me??? sad.gif
jules44
ok, i understand what you think,
"well, you've got to search it !" biggrin.gif

ok but it's not easy for me to read, in english, all the posts to find the informations... rolleyes.gif

So, if someone could give me informations on AG strip for toshiba 15.4 panel, i would be very acknowledging (how much time let it on the water, is-there really a difference without the AG, etc...)

If i'm not posting in the right place of the forum, juts let me know,
if there are links of this experience, just let me know!

thank's again in advance ! wink.gif

Well Julien you have to understand that there is no set amount of time really, sometimes it take many many hours, sometime people are able to strip the ag after just 2 hours, some have even stripped dry (I wouldn't recommend that one), personally I haven't tried an ag strip cause I am using a LG panel and they appear to be the worst to try and strip but if I had a tosh, I would soak for 2 hours test a small corner to see if it starts coming up easy, if it does keep going if not soak some more. And make sure you don't lift a layer you shouldn't be lifting.

I don't know if that will help but I hope it does.

thank's SilentReaper!

Ok, i've done it!
1h30 for the first AG (i'm not sur it's necessary to pull this one off...)
and 4h30 for the second.

I wait until tomorrow to plug it again... ohnoes.gif

Jules your projector is amazing! The images are some of the best I have seen! The reason why no one could help you with your AG stip on your panel is because I don't think anyone on here has stripped the AG on that panel befor.

Holy $#!+ !!!!!!!!!! That thing is STUNNING! At least equal to a comercial 1080p.... I'm getting tempted to get a toshiba... I've got a sharp at the mo. I'd better finish my projector first though I guess.... wink.gif
