I have been having troubles with the inputs on the evo projector.

No matter what kind of cables I use it works for awhile and then it cant get a signal.

Pain in the !!!!!!!

No matter whether I go through the receiver or directly from the cable box or DVD player, the video signal sometimes (not often) works fine, then after a few days (sometimes hours) it just poops out and can never get a signal again.

I have tried component cables, s video, VGA all the same result.

I think I got a lemon here.

Anyone else have these problems??

Thanks!

FYI there is a specific forum for EVO problems/help. But since i stumbled on your post i will try to help a bit.

Is your EVO still under warranty? If so, and you would like to fix it yourself the first step would be to email lumenlab support and ask for permission to open the EVO without voiding your warranty.

The only thing i can think to check for would be loose wires that are going to the input panel, any more than that might have to be done by lumenlab (not sure).

Where is the forum? Things have been moved around and I can't find it.

And how awesome, you can't search for 3 characters, thus you can't search for 'evo'. Handy AND thoughtful.

It's not that hard to find.
scroll to the top of this page, and where it says "Lumenlab > DIY Home Theater > Home Theater Electronics" click on the 'DIY Home Theater' link, on the page that comes up, the evo forum is the last one listed. Or, click on the Lumenlab logo in the top left of this screen, scroll down to the DIY Home Theater section, and it's the last forum in that section.
If that's to much trouble, here's a link:
