OK a lot of things to pick on on this, but that doesnt mean I wouldnt love to see one in aciton any less.

Specs say a 50W bulb, ANSI lumens 8-120?

Wonder what kind of panle it uses and if it could be changed out...... 960x240??... has to be 320x240

I read a review of this projector and they compare its quality to the Tiger ZOOMBOX which I hear is pretty awful. The lcd pixels are designed in an ood diamond shape which give the prominent screen door effect and even more obvious look. And the reolution is very very low... you would be better with a PS one lcd and DIY pj. Yesit is only $189.00 but sheesh if it is not watchable then it could be fee and you would not use it.

Please excuse the horrific spelling and typos, I really must proof better - here is the post as it should have read!

We know what it is, and what it isnt - however does anyone know what it could be?

With only a couple of upgrades, it COULD be a 1080p projector, with 800ANSI lumens, 25000:1 CR, and support for an anamorphic 2.35:1 lens!!!

JK, unless you buy a real projector and put the insides in the Wii projector's case tongue.gif

I think the Federal Trade Commision should define "high resolution" for companies.

I had something very similar to this, made by the same company, "Dragon." The version I had was their Version 1 Projector. Talk about a smack in the face, and I'm not talking in a good way either. dry.gif What Butch said is right, the quality is sub-par at best and even with my Overhead Projector mod, I had a much better picture than this projector ever would. The best thing I ever did for this projector is bought a "true color" LED halogen bulb. The colors looked better but the lumens were extremely low. It's probably 1/3 as bright as a regular 400w bulb.

Final Ruling? Skip this and go for an EVO big time or do what everyone else does here and make your own projector that'll definitely reward itself many times over both in savings and in enjoyment biggrin.gif .

Thats not the actual resolution. Thats just the number of dots. The real resolution is 320x234. They counted the Green, Blue, and Red dots as pixels when they got 960x234.
