I just stripped a samsung 153t and was thinking about how to orient it so it will not be inverted. The dege connectors were on the back bottom portion of the lcd when i stripped it, so if you were looking at it as you normally would, the edge connectors would be in the back on the bottom. Please check the pic to see what i mean. Hopefully it makes sense. I can't seem to figure out how to orient the lcd? I guess the board will have to be on the top of the enclosure?

Whips. Here's the drawing.

Yep.

Thanks Brain. Anyone else have this problem? Pics of what you did?

In your situation the best thing will be to build a frame type box around your lcd (perhaps out of 1"x3" wood). The frame will hold the circuit board at the top.
Miklopolis
That is what i am thinking. The circuit board is kind of wide and may interfere with hanging the front fresnel however. D'oh.

Rather than hang the fresnel you can put it into a frame and center pivot it.

Good idea. The only problem i see with that is that the board is about 2 inches long and i dont want to bend it above the frame in fear of stressing the edge connectors. Since the center of the front fresnel needs to be in the center of the lcd the front fresenel will be about 3/4 " too high and would hit the board. I guess i could adjust the monitor to put the picture lower and lower the fresnels?

I'm an ass. I got home and checked it again. The edge connectors are on the top! Well that is good news for me.
