Hi i got my ballast and my ushio lamp and all the other stuff except the glass .

What diagram should i use to wire the pulse strike ballast?

Thanks
fenderog
heres the diagram of the ballast I have , please somone help me !! I wanna do this this weekend!

here are my questions :

1- I should use the 120V orange input right ?

2- by looking at the simple diagram thing on the ballast itself . i think im gonna hook up the black cable of the mogul to the red cable thats open from the ballast and the white one from mogul to one of the coms

3 - if number 2 was correct , which COM should i use ? the one that sticks out by itself ? or the one that is connected to the yellow cable that goes to the ignotor ? does it matter ?

4 - if this is all right , the rest will be the same as the simple projecter wiring diagram from the pdf file ?

5 - one last question , I got this 120v fan from radioshack but i dont know which wire is + which one is - , they are both thing and they have the same writings on them

please help !
Thanks smile.gif

Sounds right. Use the 120v input. Use the com that's by itself. The rest of the wiring is the same from the guide. The fan polarity doesn't matter.

about the main cord , will a medium duty 14gauge , 15amp /125V do the job ?

and also , is there a special way that i have to pay attention while mounting the ballast , like the capacitor and the ignitor , do they have to be vertical ? horizontal ? far away from each other / something else ? anything ? smile.gif

thanks

The cord is fine. The ballast components can be mounted any way.
