It's not really a matter of "How good is it".

Whatever signal you put into it you get out of it minus the Hdcp.

It has a few compatibility issues but that is to be expected with literally hundreds of different electronics it could be used with.

But it has gotten good reviews and customer support is top notch also.

I used the HDFury for about an hour. It worked just fine but my G2A130 controller wouldn't handle 1080p through vga so I had to go through my dvi input on my contoller and use a device called gameswitch. An awesome device. smile.gif

Well of course it would work , but why ? I don't think anything is Hdcp encrypted at 480p.

But if you wanted to hook a Blu-Ray or Hd-Dvd up to the Hdfury through Hdmi and then downconvert it to the Vga input on the Evo, then yes it would take out the Hdcp.

i guess im the first one to use it on evo.
and... YES!
it does work.
and works well.
comparing using components and hdmi through hdfury.
i had comparison with my ps3 and directv hd, receiver.
i must say using hdfury it had better picture is much cleaner and colors look better.
although its not really true hd or something like that you can still see the difference.
im glad i got hdfury, special thanks to ColdSteel for selling it to me biggrin.gif
saved me $30 hehe.

I doubt this would work, but does it work in reverse(input-output)? I just bought a working widescreen lcd from my college's surplus sale for $15 and it only has dvi-d. It would be nice to use it to convert my vga output from my x2vga2 to a digital dvi-d signal. If only.....
