Full Version: Sides Blurry And Fresnel Grooves Projected. Centre And Top/bottom Very Clear

my projector is a 17" Chimei with pro fresnels and lenses. I can get a clear image, but the sides are slightly blurry with fresnel grooves projected. The top and bottom is clear. I have tried moving the fresnels back and forth, and have ensured they are aligned through trial and error.

With the triplet i have tried many distances between it and the LCD, and settled on one that made it the clearest (based on the focal length calculator).

i have also tried various screen sizes but the problem still persists.

The only thing i havnt done is adjusted the triplet sideway (on the x-axis), so thats why i think it may be unaligned on the x-axis.

anyone have had this problem before?

thanks

Do you have the flange of the pro triplet to the outside? LL pro triplet needs to be
setup with the flange towards the Lcd

is the flange the side where i screw the triplet into the wood? cause atm the part with screw holes is in front (i.e facing the wall)

Actually it's the opposite, I think.

The side that has the flange with the screwholes needs to be facing the LCD.
