I'm just asking here before buying because I want to know from the experts if there is a smaller screen (11.6" or less) with a 700:1 or higher contrast ratio (that really is what it says it is) with 720x576 resolution or higher, 10ms or less response time, & 16:9 Aspect Ratio.

If I buy this 17" one it will be too large to use for the xbox360 as it will overlap the projector's light area a lot, even the 15" one I have now overlaps a lot, but will be ideal for films as I can resize them with PowerDVD7.

This 17" one has 1000:1 Contrast ratio which is my main reason for buying it.

No you won't find an Lcd smaller than 17" with high resolution , low response time and 700:1 contrast ratio.

The 10.6" kit has 1280x768 resolution , 35ms response time and 500:1 contrast.
Cost with controller = $225 - $295

The 15.4" LG Wuxga has 1920x1200 resolution , 16ms response time and 600:1 contrast.
Cost with controller = $425 - $625

Also that 1000:1 contrast is with the backlight material. It will probably have a 500:1 or 600:1 true contrast ratio without the backlight.
