This is what is known as the Ebay Projector Scam.

Doesn't work worth a flip.

Might as well send me the money if you're going to waste it.

Pm me for my paypal address.

well about 10 years ago i did the ebay 100" tv thing and this is my honest take on it i tried it and it was about taking our setup with a single led light mostly because a small tv does not give off that much light it may seem like a lot in a dark room but if you have seen one of this MH bulbs WOW all i am saying is that it puts an image on the wall but even with the light out you will barley be able to see it and when i say barely i mean barely our have a really bright light and a triplet but as always try it and you can be the judge if you like it or not. thats the diy is for

I built one and it was so dim that that the color receptors in my eyes couldent see the color so it looked like it was black and white. Now that is dim.

Since you want to use a light source and LCD, and not a television, it will work.
The quality of the projection won't be as good as using a triplet lens, and you will probably need fans to suck out the heat that your light source makes.

That's funny, I completely missed the "light source> lcd> fresnel> screen" line in the original post because I was focused on the pictures and the automated negative of the poor quality of the TV-cardboard-fresnel eBay thingy.

Until you typed your response, I just didn't see it!
