I ordered my lenses, a UV filter, FFC extension (just in case) from lumenlab.com and I ordered the EYE lamp, ballast, "reflector", and ring from lightingunlimited. I know I need some switches for the system (DPST 'cause I'm going with the thermostat setup), I need an IEC connector to put on the outside of the box. I'm going to get some barrier strip so I don't have to solder inside the projector, just wire everything to the strip. I need a fuse holder and fuses. I'll get my thermostat, tempered glass, and wood supplies from Lowes. I just want to make sure there's nothing else I need from PartsExpress.com before I complete my order. Does anyone know where I can get a small 12v power supply that I can put inside the box. I don't want a wall wart (I have a couple of these if nothing else presents itself), I'd like something like an inline power transformer that could be tucked away with everything else, so that the outside of the box looks clean with only 1 power cord, 1 switch, and 1 VGA cable inbound.

Very low wattage case power supply worked for me. Plus you get another fan

I will be using
this power supply. It was $9.99 when I bought it but now it looks like he wants $14.99 for this one. If you like it check out his other listings because I think that he sometimes still lists them for $9.99 without the buy it now.
Of course you will have to put it in the cooling circuit somewhere. On my box I will be able to use the fact that it has both 12V and 5V outputs to switch the fans from high (12V) to low (7V) with my temperature controller.

you might want to get a digital temp gauge from target in the hardware section, $12.00 thats where I got mine, inside and outside temp/f-c readings and a light for the dark. runs on two aaa batteries.

got one of those that measures humidity for my humidors. Very good idea. Anything else? Someone outbid me on Ebay for my LCD so I'll have to look again to see what I want for an LCD.

It looks like a good contender to me. But I'm always a little worried when they get too slim.
It's a CMV which has been a good thing so far, but I believe you will be the first to try that model if you get it.

Everything here and I'm typing on my new 15" monitor. Gorgeous picture. It's giving my Princeton Graphics CRT a run for it's money (at 1024x768 that is). Overly high brightness out of the box, but I'm sure that can be adjusted. Best of all, no dead pixels. I'll tell you about FCC issues this evening. My cam is on the way from my uncle's house so I should be able to get some pix up as well. I think it's time to start the Project Page.
