Hi been skulking around these pages for a couple of days and am a complete newbie am, interested in knocking up a pj - does anyone know if this works, or has tried using a scart to vga cable to hook up their home cimema to the pj?? or know if this is possible

Well seeing as nobody seemed to know anything about these cables I decided to give one a miss (after mucho reading around the subject) instead I opted for a CYP scart to vga converter (cyp presenter 1) got mine from here. This works well with my AV setup and a benq567s v2 - obviuosly tried it all out intact before getting busy with the screwdriver. upscales images to vga, svga or xga resolutions. Tried it out with my TV digibox, DVD player and also XBOX witch were all outputting RGB scart signals through a RGB scart junction box to the converter pictures looked good to me.

If anyone else is in the need to convert scart to vga etc signals I would recommend this bit of kit
