I ran across this DVI connection that claims to allow the 1080p signal to project with your PS3 blu-ray.

GameSwitch

I done a LL search but couldn't locate it. Anyone have any experience with this?
I'm concerned with it maybe disabled by Sony PS3 if it just uses a hdcp code.
I believe this would fix my compatability issue with my G2A130 by using the DVI input and not the VGA of the HDFury.

More tidbits about it, here is the Japan Link Translated .

The adapter which converts the HDMI output of ●PS3 to DVI

At the COMPUTEX 2006 meeting place, GREEN-BOX Technology which displays the adapter which makes DVI output extend by way of RJ45 demonstration had done the display change vessel “GAME SWITCH” which designates PLAYSTATION 3 as the target.

Basically changing these with DVI and audio input of 2 sets, but it is the change vessel which it indicates in display, the HDMI→DVI cable can be attached, can convert the HDMI output of PLAYSTATION 3 to DVI. As for HDMI the copyright protection with HDCP works, but is, HDCP does not depend on the output from the GAME SWITCH, is designed in such a way that it can be output to the DVI display of HDCP non correspondence.

As for actual sale price being 130 dollars, you say that it is sale schedule even in Japan.

Thanks for the info CS it's good that this is out now it's time for some price wars, gameswitch looks good although it's bigger than HDfry and it will add another transformer to my cord jungle behind the PJ it also offer two DVI inputs where the HDfury is only one that alone should HDfury shaking in thier boots.
Looking at the GameSwitch DVI connection their the DVI-I type and all of my DVI male connectors are DVI-D accept the one that coming from my PS2 it's DVI-I but after reading GameSwitch info it seems that it can match up to either type did it come across like that to you , also they don't come out and say HDCP sripper but arent they saying that your LCD does not have to be HDCP compliant ,just trying to mack sure I read all of it right .

Lets just say the gameswitch allows the 1080p signal to go to a non compliant hdcp lcd or controller through dvi. smile.gif
The GS is quite larger but you can use a dvi cable to put it where ever you like. I use a hdmi to dvi cable to the GS and then it's out to the G2A for HD.
Mine didn't come with a power adapter (optional) so I used a Cyberpower 2.0 4 port switch from wallyworld to power it through the supplied usb power cable.

I have been using DVI-GS3-2 model of DVI Game Switch. I bought mine from www.aptolution.com for $245 CAD and it came with one adapter even though the website said it was extra. I am very happy with the progress of this unit. Setup was easy and I have been using for over a month and no issues at all.
