I was in Odyssey of the Mind back in high school. Its a creative problem solving competition where you have to solve a technical problem (well all mine were technical problems) on a $100 budget. I am a veteran dumpster diver.

The ps2 I couldn't fix; ...the CD/DVD drive goes bad..

i got an ipod from a second hand store for 3.88 crazy!!! kinda wierd the same store had a tivo for like 200 bucks

My brother got a PS2 that wouldn't read DVD's, so I put my old (dying) PC hard drive on it with HDD loader on the memory card exploit, the hardest part was figuring out how to transfer the hacked savegame with the Action Replay and a USB stick. Now all I need to do is rip the PS2 games onto it with a PC and put the HD back in the PS2


That is crazy, I just got 3 Tivos from my favorite Second-hand store for $10 or less each.

As far as screens go, I would be happy when 1080p or 720p panels in 7"/15"/ or 17" are popular, and native res too.
