Got my 1.2 today and got it all setup to findout that it wont display anything. if i press the buttons i get a light purple ring, or other times a blue square. please tell me i just need to "brake in the bulb" as i keep hearing.

also i am a little concerned with the quality of everything i got. the ceiling mount screws came basically pre-stripped, the instruction manual appeared used, and the plasic frame of the projector seemed like it was peice together by someone in a hurry. it turns on fine, and no warning lights appear. please help me i am getting very upset; as money is not something i usually throw around, this projector was a huge investment.

No one?! No one here knows anything about "burning in" a bulb. i really would like not to have to send this thing back in.

Is this an evo?
Would be better posted in the evo section.
Probably get a faster response from those familiar with it.
As far as everything appearing used, I would definitely contact support and inquire about that.
