hey,

i just started reading about the diy lcd projectors and ran across some plans i havnt heard if they work so i thought maybe i would ask you guys. the plans to me seem a little off after reading about some of the projectors here, it says you don't have to worry about taking your lcd apart because it projector uses a direct reflection method rather than a pass through transmissive method (which is what i see you guys use). its my first projector build and i dont want to go crazy just yet, just want to build a easy one and get an idea of what i need to do later on, and the plans seem easy but like i said i want to see what you guys think.

the link ::: http://www.audiovisualizers.com/madlab/lcd_proj.htm

the plans are around the mid of the page, the scanned images.

thanks for your time

They are definitely off. That projector design doesn't work, all you end up getting is a projection of the glare of the bulbs off of the LCD. No LCD image.

I don't know why the webpage owner keeps that on there. It is nonsense.
