I've scrounged up two female vga connectors off of some old video cards in an attempt create a female to female vga adapter to connect my 360 to my pj. Does anyone know which pins are required to drive an lcd and which aren't needed. The connectors aren't too solder friendly so i'd like to eliminate any pins that aren't needed. And also the conectors would be wired pin 1 -pin 1 2-2 3-3 etc etc, correct?

Thanks,
Notch

Notch:
If you can find an adapter, buy it.
I made an extension for a VGA adapter for my controller card to my input panel for the back of my PJ. It was a major pain in the ***.
Do a Google search for the pin assignments for a VGA connector, that's where I found a drawing.
Good luck.

I stopped by radioshack a while ago and they didn't have one, but I'm sure I'll be able to find one online somewhere. I'll heed your warning and save myself the trouble.

Thanks,

VGA gender changers sell for $4 USD or less (shipped) on eBay, but, you should be able to find one at any computer store.
