I have been trying various ways of getting the adhesive off of 3dlens polarizing film. The only way to do it without destroying the film is with DUCT TAPE. I just pulled the adhesive off of a piece of polarizer suitable for a 17 inch LCD in about 45 minutes and about 15 feet of duct tape. I then use a plastic polish to remove residue. No scratches, no damage. Easy. I hope this helps someone.

EDIT: DO NOT USE ANY LIQUID TO CLEAN A POLARIZER. It will leech between the plastic surfaces and onto the actual polarization material, damaging it permanently.

I washed it with baby shampoo to get the fingerprints off and it is perfect. No scratches, no damage. Easy. I hope this helps someone.

After doing several of these, I have found that it is best not to expose the polarizer film to anything liquid. I have been polishing the surface with plastic polish once I get the adhesive off. It removes any residue left from the adhesive and leaves a perfect surface.
