I finished building my vertical projetor by using a double unsplit fresnel and a standard triplet both from a buhl Overhead Projector. When I tried the optics without the mirror after the triplet the image was not flipped and stayed the same orientation as the lcd panel. Say what?
I also noticed the double fresnel which is still intact as before has grooves facing out on both sides. More confusion.
Any suggestions?
Are you standing on your head?
ok, just kidding.
Well, it's optics, and, unless you have double optics, it has to flip it.
You said you are using unsplit fresnels, you don't have your fresnels after the LCD in the path, do you?
Care to draw a simple diagram of how you have it laid out? something like the simple ascii below would help even:
__O______|_____|_____()__________________|
_Light___Fres__LCD__Triplet_______________Screen
And you mentioned it's a vertical build. So, you removed the mirror and shot it directly out the end then, right?
A picture can always be a a help.
