I just bought an eVo V.1 from a user on a message board, and I feel as if it has a lot of problems. I recently mounted it on my ceiling from a normal distance. It is almost 11 feet away from my wall. It is projecting a 121'' picture when it is focused properly. That is WAY too big! At least I feel that way. I sit the same distance away, as the projector is right over my head as I sit. Is the only way to make the image smaller while keeping the focus right moving the projector forward on my ceiling? That seems ridicoulos. Does anybody have a solution to this so I dont have to move my projector. I thought most projectors had 2 rings to move.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps I can mod something, or is moving the projector forward my only option? I think if I move it forward it will look quite tacky in the middle of my ceiling and I will get distracted by it when I sit down. I would prefer to keep it back here, but make the image smaller. According to a calculator I did, the maximum for an 11 ft viewing distance screen wise, would be like 90''. Theres no way this guy can do that. Please somebody help!!!! The instruction manual is useless....and for some reason my remote isn't working????
