Here is my first attempt at DIY CNC. My inital idea was to be sensible and start with a small machine, but i've never liked small so I ended up throwing myself in the deep with a 2 ton monster.

The machine I bought was a bridgeport series II interact 4. It was already CNC from the start but somone had let the magical blue smoke out of the electronics so I decided to rip it all out and start again from scratch with new servo drives and pc based controls.

I'm about 6 weeks from finishing now and plan to use the mill to build myself a shiny projector casing.
