I definitely want to experiment with some LEDs for my build I have a couple of questions though.

Id be using a 7" screen, so which LEDs would be best ? Which size, which brand etc ? I don;t know much about LEDs, Is it better to use "bigger" ones and less of them ? Do they make bigger ones ?

How many LEDs approx would I need for a 7" panel ?

What would the approximate cost be ?

Are they bright enough to be used at all with some low ambient light ?

Do I need special LEDs or will generic Radio Shack ones work ? Ive read about "super bright" where do I get these and how are they different from "regular" LEDs ?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I bought at besthongkong.com 5mm 900 LEDs.
Yes, you need super-bright LEDs.

There are 2 options:
- 10mm into 2-floors (allinbox.com have some examples)
- 5mm in hexagon placement

How soon and how much will the 8.9 be ? Im using a 7.2 " wxga panel, will the 8.9 work ?

Are the arrays your selling 10mm LEDs ?

What configuration are they ? Im looking for 10mm double stacked.
