well i'm planning on getting a 2.5 gain screen i was just wondering if hotspots will be troubl for me.
my room is fairly small 12' x 12' around there atleast. and my projection 60x96. some of the desc. said that the view angle is 30 degrees. so is my room small enough so that the hotspots will be to a minimum or will i see the hotspots just by me moving my head? ohnoes.gif anyway any help will be appreciated.

You'll hear a variey of opinions regarding this but I've come to the conclusion so long as you can sit reasonably centered with respect to your screen you won't mind the hi-gain at all. In fact, you'd probably be shocked if you could magically change from 2.5 to 1.0 gain the difference would be so great.

It's really quite simple. If you can sit within the left and right side of the screen you will see the best gain. Once you move past the screen edges you will dramatically lose the gain. So if your chairs will be within those limits you're good.

hmmm would a 1.8 screen no more than 2' off either side create a hotspot problem?
