Saw this the other day: (http://www.exclusiv-online.com/shop/index.php?main=main&lang=en&up=0) It relies on a very high resolution 7 inch XGA display. I've also seen these on ebay under the name of lilliput (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14946&item=5717635549&rd=1#ebayphotohosting) going for £125.00 direct from HongKong. this is the same spec but even cheaper
This makes a compact half size version of the Lumenlab pj (excellent as it is) and all the bits work on 240v.
For some bizarre reason the Krazy Germans will sell everything except the plans. Dont understand that, but from the forums and parts photos, I should think it will assemble into a mini Lumenlab no problem. The display takes both VGA and RCA(composite) video in. (WOW!)
now someone tell me this is a bad idea??

The 7" panel isn't truly XGA, it is 800x480.

so how bad is that? The Germans are selling kits of bits based on this display. I know the overall screen size will be smaller. (about 6 feet wide I guess). perhaps you would like to add a comment or two?

I'm nearly finished building one now. I'll give a full report soon.

Well now that will be interesting to see. I look forward with anticipation
