hmmm... what exactly do you mean ? do you want to add a higher resolution panel ? .. or do you just want to watch HD material on your eVo ?

adding a higher resolution panel would be tricky to very tricky to slightly impossible ( nothing is ever totally impossible wink.gif ) A 7.2" panel with a 1280x768 resolution has been found, but people are still working in finding a suitable controller for it. This may be a possibility for modding into an eVo to increase resolution. The difficult part may be changing out the LCD and controller while not effecting the other functions of the eVo. I don't own an eVo so i'm not well versed in the internals and how everything is interconnected.

if you want to watch HD on the eVo, I believe it will accept 720p and 1080i signals through the Component (RGB) connections. Just connect your HD source via component to the eVo and you're watching HD.

cheers,
gs

I wanted to buy the EVO, but was not sure of picture quality. How do you like yours'? Do you have any screen effect or double vision? Thanks in advance for your time.

P.S. Did you get HD to work?

I had the v1.0 and v1.1, I don't know what you mean by "double vision" but I didn't notice any wackyness, the pictre stayed sharp and clear. I mostly watched 720p out of the Samsung HD tuner, although I played a lot of games on the 480p RGB modded Xbox (aka VGA).

Screen door? It is there, but whether or not you will notice it or it will bother you really depends on personal preference and projection size. I projected at 80" diagonal and sat 6-8' back, and I was pretty comfortable with it.

It is an 800x480 panel after all.
