I try to tweak the camera according to each game that provides much more accuracy, better than 1 mode for every game, heres a link to the 4 games so far that i've tweaked the camera for. I'll update with more games (gears of war being a priority when I get the thing back) Enjoy! its catoragarific!

I want to be 1000% honest, some of these images are about 2 shades too bright, but the colors are VERY nice Also these shots are A modded oblivion running in 1280x1024 on my PC (later ones running in 1280x720) The game has alot more visual mods, better color etc than a stock unmodded oblivion.

Nice pics. I've never been into Oblivion but those pics are very very nice. I'll finally be starting on my projector soon, even though I've had the parts for over half a year, and I'll probably build a new PC just for media and gaming on it. Curious, what video card are you using? Crysis looks like it's going to be visually amazing as well...

Could you up the resolution any more for oblivion? Even if its running slow, just up everything to max, and get one or two pics, Please, Pretty please. I used some mods, but my 6600GT cant really do much, especially when my CPU is botllenecking it. Awesum work by the way! I dont think ive seen clearer corners before IMHO, so nice, so so nice.

What kind of focusing problems?

Your corners look good in the pics, but I understand that it is possible to make them look good in pictures, when in person they are just a little out of focus-it drives me insane with mine--

I'm the same exact way. I swear this thing will never be "finished", it's too much fun tweaking it to get just a slightly better picture. Of course to us it's not "slight", even the smallest things make a big difference to people like us - the tweakers.

ChristmasGT, since I know youve seen more than your share of 15.4" panels , could you tell me the differences between the brands youve tried? As in which has better color, which has better contrast, and also which is overall brighter? Even if you just compared between a Samsung and a Toshiba it would help.

I am building a projector with intentions of demonstrating it to the manager at a movie theater where I work, so I need to get every little bit of contrast and brightness that I can get out of the panel that I pick,(color is not so much of an issue as contrast is) and I know that similarly spec'd panels can be very different; only firsthand viewing can tell how good a monitor really is...

PS, I nominate you for the hall of fame, partly because every picture from that game looks awesome, the colors and the detail!!!

The toshiba, by FAR, it has just as good colors as my Samsung 730B (17") its really really clear, I definatly dig it far more

My brightness is definatly a tad less in those pics, but still works out great =D I'm going to get forza 2 pics sometime soon, im level 40 in the game, and want to get my custom cars done so you guys can see them =D

Which panel did you like best in terms of contrast? Also, which panel did you find gave you the best brightness? The colors are a (relatively) small concern, since I will hopefully be using RGB LEDs, the color filters do not need to be the best.

Toshiba by FAR, dont have to mess with any stripping or anything to get a fantastic picture. truely outstanding

So then the next question would be: will it take me 3 panels to get one apart without breaking it?

I think in order to be in the hall of Fame we actually need pictures of the projector.

I was thinking the same thing. I love the screen shots and the quality of them. I just wish I could see what was actually making those nice sharp images... I would love a peek under the hood too.

Surprise ladies! im not dead yet! i've been working on my car (changing it from auto to manual) amung other things. still unemployed and still rocking it hard!

I'm going to take some more pics tonight...I found a 1080p JVC HDTV on craigslist by my house for sale...been thinking really hard about buying it....750 bucks, MSRP is like 2k. it's deep in my consideration file, the projector doesnt get used a whole lot, I dont know why, I'm really happy with it 480p looks sorta blury, I think it really needs a new control board, I hate not having 1080p work over VGA, but work over Component

Images are a touch bright, but actually having glasses and being able to see how CRAZY clear the image is is outstanding =D, seriously, these images do zero justice to this thing

Hey GT glad to see you. Got a ? for ya though, is it my imagination or is your rear fresnel warped? From the pics of the inside it looks warped.

It's a shame we can't view this pictures at a higher resolution. Kinda takes away from all that 1080p goodness, y'know?

I know infinity! IDK what happened to imageshack. I've used it for all my images...anyone have any other good places besides it?

and yeah, the rear fresenel is a little warped...doesn't seem to affect the great projection though. really until last night when I turned it on I forgot how nice it was.

There we go, fixed it for you guys. again, those screenies do NO justice to this thing...IDK why the forza 2 screenies didnt turn out so well. it looks so so much better, I miss the freeze command I had...I could make such good screenies for you guys that way, the oblivion ones are from my PC, so I was able to open the console and make the game pause, hence the great shots from it...the 360 everything moves so they look blurry. but the image really is outstanding

I've been using the projector a little more lately, I downloaded The Eternal Sonata demo for my 360 and it blows me away, I mean DAMN.

I am going to eventually flood this thread with more pics than you know what to do with, it's going to be a good month for gamming =D

Flood away... I've always loved seeing your screenies... (hell I love seeing anyones screenies)... they tend to be the most inspiring for me... and also make me very keen to hook up a console to my PJ (once I actually get it built )

Your images are streched to 1200px so how can it look great???

Looking at the 360 pics I would say its impossible to tell the difference. It was only noticable on the still pictures in the other thread with the squares and circles...

I would love to play a movie for all the guys that have been saying that 1920x1080 stretched to 1920x1200 sucks.

I'd play it randomly stretched and at 1:1 and I'd guarantee that if they came in the room and had to guess which it was that they would be wrong 50% of the time.

To prove my point. Look in my 1080p 15.4" thread and tell me which pics are stretched and which are 1:1. There are some of each

I'm very happy to hear that. I just ordered a WUXGA kit from Johnzo, and was curious about that.

On a side note, I have a question about your antiglare stripping attempt of the Samsung panel. Where would you prefer me to ask the question (this thread, your PLOG, or PM)?
