On the reflector Wiki I read that stainless steel reflectors need to be polished before putting to use. Which polish am I supposed to use for this purpose? Generic name would be fine but a link to a particular item would be great :-).
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Nitin.

Many here mentioned
Mother's Mag polish and it's what I've used. If there is a Walmart or automotive store near you they should have it.

The Duchess nailed it

It has worked for me quite well. If you have a dremel with a polishing wheel it's even better compared to polishing by hand, amazing results aftwards. There is also the Billet polish made by Mother's that works just as good.

Mother's mag polish is a great prouct.
I do, however feel that there's a limit to the effectiveness of it.
I did some testing with reflectors. I started with the Ikea Soare (napkin holder) as a reflector. It was quite shiny to begin with, so this may be the reason that I got so little benefit.
According to my luxmeter, if the "bare" bul hadd a brightness of "1.00" then with the bare reflector, it would be 1.20. With the reflector polished really well, it would be 1.25. By comparison the pro reflector would be 1.50
