Actually im aiming for a ps3 cool.gif . My pj is commercial and not a DIY. It only costed $120, so i was very pleased. I would already have an RGB connection for both ps2 and xbox, but the pj has a weird RGB connection. Its 15pin but it has 2 pin rows, and not 3 in a row like a VGA cable. huh.gif
Speaker_King
Oooohhh.....you were suggesting me to make one. cool.gif mabey

Got any pics of the theater? smile.gif Also, how do you like your car sub/amp as far as home theater goes? I need a sub and have thought about it.
Speaker_King
HAHA.... all the crap i have.....no camera sad.gif .....Hopefully, i'll get one soon laugh.gif

The Sub and amp......They have very good freq response (20-16,000Hz) and like all car speakers, they have a tighter suspension. I like them better than the powered sub that i had before, It was a 10" 500W in a bandpass box(home audio). With the car sub, the only thing i have to worry about is placing it to close to my xbox, since the xbox's harddrive isnt magneticly sheilded. I have my amp wired into the switched outlet on the back of my receiver, So it comes on when the receiver does. smile.gif

How do you have your car amp powered from A/C?

Oh......i left out the most important part....I have a 13.5V AC to DC converter tongue.gif
Speaker_King
My bad....thats 12.5V(4AMax)
Speaker_King
Its been a while since iv been on, so a few things have changed......
everything audio is still the same and i have a lot more game, im not even going to begin mentioning them,

The only thing thats changed is my tv,
My pj blew a cap so i baught a 53" rearprojection hitachi Ultrascan hd. It supports all the way up to 1080i. I baught the HD cables for my xbox, and i will get them for the ps2 later on.

edit* Oh....an my sub is in a ported box(car)

I hate to break it too you, but with that 4amp converter, your limiting the audio to only 50 watts.

Heres the formula:

P = V * I

where

P is the power in watts
V is the potential difference in volts
I is the current in amperes

For your converter, (12.5v*4A), your max Watt output is only 50...

Seriously, get a better AC-DC converter. I would recommend using a PC power supply. They come in all prices, from less than $20 to over $500. When shopping for a PC power supply, always look at the amps, not watts. Here a a few just to show you whats out there and at what cost.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817709010 $16, can output 18A on the 12v rail, allowing for 216 watts
http://www.xpcgear.com/ppct1200esa.html 550 $550, can output 100A on the 12v rail, allowing for 1200 watts.

Just my 2 cents. There is always the "if it aint broke dont fix it" mentality tho...

It wouldn't be a DIY community if we had that mentality tongue.gif
It can always be better!

I wonder if that should be a sticker on bass enclosures "WARNING: DANGEROUS TO FISH" or maybe it could be a selling point "Our bass is so wicked it'll kill your momma's fish!"
