It took just about a day to build it mainly because of all the spare parts I had hanging around and this might be my hmmmm 7th rebuild or more it get's easier everytime. Images are from 9'away 80" horizontal. I don't have a reflector instaled yet but I might try it out at the risk of adding more heat to the build.

Parts.
250watt metal halide kitt globe bulb
220, 317 regular fresnels
10.4" 480p lcdtv panel 800x600 max res (didn't have a brand name)
variofocal triplet lens

Images are being run through my PS2 for now. I haven't had a chance to test HALO on it yet though.

Looks great for such a quick build.....800x600 really shows it limitations.. but otherwise... good work

Thanks I still would like to know why I can't get a even light spread on this panel but I will work that out later. Thi is actualy the first horizontal build I've only made verticals so it's bugging me that I never had a light spread issue as bas as this with my vertical one.. this is supposed to be the easiest design smile.gif The good thing is that it gives me the option of maybe getting a higher res 10" panel later but for for $150 total I couldn't pass up a chance for a 480p lcdtv all the inputs except for vga and it came with a remote.

I'll post pics when I actualy have it hooked up to a 480p source the PS2 is showing it's age but I love it.
