I found my old atari lynx in the shed and was wondering if its possible to do a mod so it can accept RCA or VGA ? If possible ill make a smaller PJ out of it.

Nope and it's a crappy screen anyways, it would look terrible projected.

The Psone screen is the best for small projectors.

Dude. you wanna dismantle an atari Lynx.. i would research that if i were you. those things are rare collectables and go for about 200$ if it has all of the accessories and a clip of games
sell it and than buy a nice LCD with the pocket money

They sell for $20-$40 on Ebay with a couple of games.

i noticed that... i looked around for them a while back and they were going for around 130 - 175.
i also know a gamers store who will buy the unit by itself for around 40$ they sell them for 75$. and around 15-26$ a game

Thy lynx like all the other LCD games in its era used (crappy) STN displays that didn't have the TFTs behind them. The quality is terrible... I remember getting a modern laptop with this type of screen... It was like waking up from a bad dream when u turned it off.. I wish some one would manufacture a TFT upgrade for all those old systems
