Does anyone know if a G2A130 w/ Sharp Bios can work with a LG LP154WU1? Maybe someone has tried it before and gotten it to work. I would assume it also uses different cables.

Do you know if that LCD was intended for Dell laptops? If it was made for the Dell Inspiron D800, 8500, or 8600 I think there's a pretty good chance it'll work.
As for the cables (plugs really): if the panel is for the laptops above I'd say there's a very good chance they'll be exactly the same.

uses same pinout, connector and exactly same timing what the wuxga sharp uses. the only diffrence that LG implements EEDID/DDC what sharp is not.
