I have just put to getter a simple pj and wont to start on a vertical folding one. I'm looking for a cad program to make a 3d model of it with every thing to scale before I start. This is all just for fun I'm just now getting into cad. I have seen some on the market that have components all ready modeled and to scale ex: nut, bolts, screws and would like something like this. I've used wings 3d, and google sketch but wont something a little more professional, and cost is not important.

any help would be great thanks

If you just want something simple, try google sketchup, if you are more advanced, well since you are posting here, just use sketchup lol

If you want precision and and the ability to create complex objects I'd suggest AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks, or 3ds Max. AutoCAD is my favorite, and I think it would be the easiest to learn; plus their help files are pretty straightforward.
