Anyone know where I could find detailed dimentions of the 10.6 LCD? I am planning on making my PJ with this, but want to make a solidworks model first. Thanks.

Not sure if I did this right... is it 5.6x8.96 (its a 16:10 ratio, right?)

So I made a solid model of ozstang65's dimentions. Thanks a lot oz if you see this, great work. One quesiton though, is there any metal support around the lcd or is it just bare? Also, with these dimentions I get a diagonal length of 11 inches. If there are any updates or corrections on those demensions I would appreciate any new info. If anyone wants the file, just pm me.

I believe that those are the dimensions of the panel itself. It comes in a metal frame that can be reused if desired. As far as the 11" diagonal, I think that the entire LCD is not used edge to edge (although I do not have one to say for sure). So 10.6" would just be the active area within the 11" screen.
