Hi all, have been reading lots of info here and will be starting to build my own PJ in June
Afer reading many posts and different opinions, I am after some frensel lenses that will suit a 17"Lcd
monitor (not widescreen).
Do I need a 220 and 330 or 2 330 or something else

Thanks

If you buy the LL pro kit when it's back in stock the you will get a 220mm and a 650 mm fl fresnels matched to the pro triplet.

Thanks for that, I thought that the 650fl was for the widescreen??

Each triplet has a fresnel that matches it. The pro lens is 500mm FL and the fresnel that go with it is 610mm ( the number 650mm is wrong)

A 450mm fl triplet goes with a 550mm fresnel and a 327mm triplet goes with a 327mm triplet.

The rear fresnel can be a 220mm or 330m. If you want to go to a 330mm and a condenser lens then the 330mm must be larger than the one LL sells so you will need to get it from ebay or 3d lens.com

A condenser system is brighter. You need use a lamp with a shorter arc than the LL lamp for a condense system.

The S400DD or a HQI 250 or a lot of 250 watt lamps are good fr a condenser system.

Thank you for that information smile.gif
