I would totally buy one, that is if the beer for it was widely available, and there was more than 2 choices.

Good point. But I think there will be more choice, once they start selling this thing. And if they don't Jupiler is the best of the 2 wink.gif

Brain,

You brew too? If you really want small kegs or similar, Dan Listermann http://www.listermann.com/ makes just such things. They sell the Phil Tab for tapping Mini Kegs, and Mini Kegs can be had for $7 each. I believe they're moving away from Mini Kegs to 2L bottles, making it even cheaper! He's also going to be selling a beer engine soon...

I somehow have a feeling there's several other homebrewers, winemakers, cider makers, coffee roasters, moon shiners etc. on here smile.gif

I do brew. I've been trying to decide which way to go on the kegs, bottling's getting old.

I think I bottled exactly 2 batches. I can highly recommend soda kegs. The only downside (if you'd call it that) is that you need a kegerator to keep it cold. Chest freezers work great! Just buy a $50 temp controller, and viola, it's a refrigerator. Use some plastic "picnic" faucets (aka python faucets) and you don't even need draught towers. A CO2 tank and regulator will run you though. I got lucky. I found a cheap used reg for about $15, and I got 2 20lb. CO2 cylinders for free. Homebrew Digest has some great forums. I've always gotten quick and helpful answers on there. Most people on there keg, so they can provide lots of insight too.

Hope this helps,
Brett

Wow, that gives me an idea for a computer case beer tap mod.
