Although I haven't used this program, but I would imagine it might intrest a lot of people here...

I did a quick search of the forum and this is the only mention that came up on Google.

They seem to be talking about fixing dead picture elements ("pixels" for short), so if you've got some you may want to read that thread also.

i've read in a magazine about a program for the computer wich marks up dead pixels using the surrounding pixels.
if you gently massage the dead pixel while turning the screen on, that could also help.

but hey, that whas what the tread was about biggrin.gif i didn't read it laugh.gif

I actually ended up getting a dead pixel on my laptop (which has a Sharp WUXGA by the way). A single sub pixel stuck on blue.

I poked at it a little (partly to verify that it wasn't dust or something stuck on the screen) then ran the program for about 5 minutes. I took a closer look, and... the pixel was back to normal!

Awesome!


I've heard that these pixels have a habit of returning to the grave, but for now it's fixed.
