Ignore the price (aussie dollars) i can get it much cheaper than that

looks pretty good - dont know about the ffc issue though - but that can alwasy be fixed

the response time and brightness numbers are pretty bad for a projector. I wouldn't pay more than $140 for that thing. The contrast ratio is decent.

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't brightness just a measurement of the backlight, and we don't need that anyway.

agree the responce time is a bit slow, but i won't be playing games on it, just movies.

so thinking about a purchase (i can get it for 320 new)

if i don't destroy anything, i can always upgrade at a later time and use this one on the PC or sell it.

Doesn't seem that bad to me. The dithered color is annoying but it will make a decent movie projector. $320 might be a bit on the high side, but you're in Oz after all.
