I finally got the PJ "done" and fired up !
Amazing to say the least !

I am having a problem with the bottom half of the screen , it gradually gets darker the further down you go , and the bottom is really washed out .
the top of the screen look great ! ( other than the light leakage around the edges and pictures of marrets/wires and the ffc's ) LOL
i thought that i had the lenses mixed up but i checked them last night and they are correct.

Any suggestions ??

i am using the standard measurements in the guide if that helps .
and i will post some pics tonight.

I would check the alignment of the bulb. Do you have a reflector in there? Any sample images to look at?

as of right now i an not using a reflector at all, i don't think that the norpro will fit ... because i am using the 400u but i will look for a huge bowl tonight that might work .... i will post some pics tonight ( i get off at 4:30 EST )
and i will check for proper alignment as well ( it could be off a bit)

thanks .... i will keep you updated on my progress...

and i think i should take a bunch of pics and put them in the building forum.

Well i have been really busy the last few days and didn't have time to to post pics yet sad.gif ... but i have a 4MP casio tonight so i should be able to get some nice ones..

I ended up moving the lamp forward about 2 inches and installing a reflector ( a 9 inch polished bowl from homesense ,,,,( no flat spot at all ) and it made a world of a difference biggrin.gif the movie looked awsome through the N6 and it was only running at low res. .. through a/v as well .... so i can just imagine what it is going to look like at a higher resolution and through the proper cables !

Will post pics tonight

GrunWerg Mixing Bowls.
from homesense (not sure if they are in the U.S or not ??)

They are 180 spherical work great.

Both for BT28, and the BT38

There are a few sizes of bowls so weather your using a small or large bulb your set.

Got mine for 9.50 Tax in

i tried www.grunwerg.com but it doesn't give you too much information about them .

the one i am using is approx. 9 inches in diameter and 5 inches or so deep
