take a look at this i found on ebay, its a 2.5" lcd monitor. for around £30 - $60
maybe a good idea for a small build?

I know the quality wont be that amazing, but i think its really cool.


* Small and cute, with only 2.5" TFT Screen
* Can be operated inside your car or at home
* Plays DVD/VCD/VCR/CCTV/Rear View Camera
* No Radiation
* High Resolution (336960)
* Build In Speaker
* NTSC/PAL system auto switch
* With Volumn/Color/Brightness adjustments
* Can use with car's DC system

I had the same idea a while back, but I used found a better 2.5".

The one you have is a 160x234 , the one I found is a 320x234.

And the Phuton has 2 boards and the one I found only has 1 board.

cool, yours seems soo much better. Do you think that the quality of projecting such a small image like that will make for a crappy PJ, at low resolutions the it must, mustnt it? thats jon, tongue.gif

Isn't 336960 dots 480x234 resolution?

Edit: If the resolution was right it would be 16:9 aspect ratio. I don't think they know what they are talking about.

They're using "dots" so you have to divide the first # by 3. So it's 160x324

I did. 480 times 234 is 112320. That times three is 336960 for dots.

Yea sorry you're right. But the seller just messed up. Here's the correct specs.

wonder if theese LED floodlight would be useful for anything?

That floodlight is an IR floodlight, when turned on the light emitted will not be visable. It wont work...
