my company does silvering of glass, not that particular process, but its the same thing. this will not work with fs mirrors as it is only highly reflective from the other side of the glass. interesting to note that this is how mirrors were made back in the day. they used mercury before the discovery of silver nitrate. my company makes chrome glass vibrators using this process.

Um... anyway, Elken2004 has mentioned before in his extremely long 150W ceramic thread that you can take any rear surface mirror, apply paint stripper to the back of it, and use the back side as the front for a front surface mirror. I haven't bothered trying it yet, but might have to give it a go when I decide whether or not to go folded. Buying a regular mirror in comparison could be very cost effective so it is worth a shot.
